FAQs
Q. What is color balancing? When should I color balance?
Color balancing is replacing the color tone throughout the ends of the hair. Color balancing should be done when your desired tone has started to fade, usually every 4-6 weeks.
Q. What is glazing? When should I schedule this service?
In a nut shell glazing is toning. Glazing adds personality to your color by defining and customizing your overall hue. Glazing should always be done with every highlighting or lightening process at a minimum. Our recommendation for keeping your color beautiful is to schedule a glazing service in between your highlights or every 4 weeks.
Q. What is a keratin smoothing treatment?
Keratin smoothing treatments are thermal smoothing options for eliminating frizz or stretching curl patterns. These treatments are perfect for you if you are frustrated with unruly and frizzy hair, you could shave some time off your blow-drying ritual, or if you are just looking to soften and silken the overall texture of your hair. Be it straight or curly, anyone is a candidate for this service.
Q. What are the benefits of having in-salon conditioning treatments?
In-salon treatments are supercharged. We customize the treatment at your back-bar specifically for your hair challenges. It is a service tailored just for you and we can adjust for color, dryness, and mineral over-deposit.
Q. How often should I schedule my color and cut services?
We recommend 4-6weeks (5 being the sweet spot) for all your services. Keeping your appointments at 5 weeks helps you have more great hair days in between, also, more frequent visits mean no extra (surprise) costs to your color service.
